I believe this story would fall in the fantasy/action category. I really enjoyed it. The detail was amazing and so was the story. It was pretty long though so if you only like short stories, this isn't such a good one. It's about a boy getting revenge and stuff. It has vampire ninjas and it's a kind of violent story? Vampires yes, but none of the chummy romance. It's for guys and girls though so no worries... unless you're squeamish.
There are a lot of twists in the story which makes Blood Ninja an exciting read. The ending is suspenseful, somewhat a cliff-hanger and not at all satisfying. I mean, this book COULD be 10/10 but I hated the ending SO BADLY! :P There is a second book though: Blood Ninja 2: Revenge of Lord Oda. I think that's what it's called. I haven't read the second yet. I do plan on reading it. The ending is not happy, it leaves you wanting to read the secondbook..... I guess that's the point! I looked online, supposedly the third book is coming out sometime soon.
I'd rate this book... 8/10
